Personal Health Systems, p-Health, represent a disruptive vision that is set to revolutionise health and social care practices, based on the pillars of promotion of health and prevention of illness, on scientific evidence and focusing on people and their environment. We have been working towards this vision for over ten years, first conducting research and then creating the technological solutions that enable us to make it a reality. At TSB Tecnologías para la Salud y el Bienestar we are on the last leg of the Innovation chain which we began in ITACA-TSB, that of improving the quality of life of those who suffer from illness, disabilities and situations of dependence.

Our challenge is to use technology to improve quality of life in all spheres. At TSB we will develop as many iniciatives as we possibly can in order to achieve this paradigm, focusing primarily on applying ICTs within the field of health and fostering independence. We believe that health is a primary factor when considering a person’s quality of life and we are witnessing an upwards trend in the average age of the population, and as a result there is an ever-increasing number of people suffering from chronic illness and of dependent elderly people.
