Today TSB has joined Zigbee Alliance as member. The ZigBee Alliance is an association of companies working together to enable reliable, cost-effective, low-power, wirelessly networked, monitoring and control products based on an open global standard.The initial markets for the ZigBee Alliance include Consumer Electronics, Energy Management and Efficiency, Health Care, Home Automation, Building Automation and Industrial Automation.

Inside TSB portfolio, the SPHERAone technology, based on Zigbee standard, is one of the most advance technologies on Zigbee to provide location, tracking and identification functionalities. Joining Zigbee Alliance, TSB will help to improve the technology based on knowledge and real market cases, more focussed on health and wellbeing sectors.
