Monitoring of Cardiovascular diseases (ECV)

This product employs e-health technology, in the form of a portable, multimedia kit, to monitor a patient's treatment and progress.  This kit provides a means of remote communication between the patient and the corresponding health care professional. 

RITMUS Mobile allows the patient themselves to take, record and send all measurements necessary for the monitoring of cardiovascular diseases to the doctor from wherever they are, thus increasing their quality of life. The doctor is able to monitor the patient’s progress, send advice and manage the patient’s medical records. 

Based on research projects such as MY HEART, an integrated project from the sixth of the European Commission’s Research and Development Framework Programmes, within the Information Society and Health Care Technologies (e-Health) sector, or that of Integrated Management of Welfare Processes for Chronic Conditions (GIPA), the system will enable the individual to take greater control of their state of health, with a view to combating cardiovascular disease (ECV) through prevention plans and monitoring.  The latest technologies will be employed throughout.
