"eMOTIVA". Personalized motivation for people with dementia by conduct pattern detection.

eMOTIVA is a project oriented to the motivation and monitoring of patients with dementia in nursing homes. It consists of a tool of Future Internet which creates a synergy between medics and elderly people with cognitive decline caused by dementia-related diseases. This tool will help in the use of social inclusion as therapeutic method thanks to the use of digital contents as a response to behavior disorders. The project purpose is the integration and deployment of an infrastructure in residences which enables the monitoring and motivation of people with dementia. This infrastructure will allow the detection of behavior patterns related to mental disorders and it will provide mechanisms to perform a personalized motivation. Today, the good practices on the elderly care are based on full-approach which includes actions as stimulation and cognitive processes maintenance.

TSB's main role is the project coordination and development of sensor network system and in-door localization system.
