FASyS. Absolutely Safe and Healthy Factory.

Absolutely Safe and Healthy Factory- is part of the definition of the Factory of the Future and also of the new perspective of Sustainable Competitive Manufacturing. A sustainable factory in Europe must not only be sustainable in terms of energy, efficiency and resources but should clearly and differentially emphasize its role in the sustainability of its employees and workers.
The FASyS project proposes the development of a new knowledge and technology that guarantees, from the design phase , the welfare and comfort of workers in future machining, handling and assembly factories so the workers will become key factors of competitive and differentiation in the new production model.

Role: TSB´s mission is the development of wearable sensors and monitoring systems for health care allowing characterize user's daily work activity.

Funding entity and program: FASyS is one of the 18 major national strategic projects supported by CDTI at the CENIT call 2009. A total of 13 companies and 14 research teams are part of the consortium that will carry out the project development.
